Oxy-fuel flame cutting (short for gas cutting/flame cutting) is a mainstream thermal processing blanking service that processes thick carbon steel plates with high-temperature flames mixed by oxygen and combustible gas.
Preheating Stage: Acetylene or propane mixed with oxygen generates high-temperature flame at around 3000°C, heating local steel plates to ignition point (700–900°C).
Oxidation Cutting: High-pressure pure oxygen is injected to trigger violent oxidation of iron with heat release, producing low-melting iron oxide slag.
Slag Discharging & Forming: Continuous high-pressure oxygen flow blows away molten slag to form regular cutting kerf and complete plate separation.
